The End... ???

Can't believe this blog is still here. Like all of my other Blogs, this one was started and not worked on since. Well I am happy to announce that the script did not go down the same way as the Blog and infact was completed a few months after the original post to this Blog was made. The script also went through a name change and is now called 'Tao of Millie'.

That is the good news. The bad news is that nothing has happened since completing the 'final draft'. Like all final drafts, Millie requires further rewrites and drafts but sadly it sits on a virtual shelf gathering virtual dust.

I do however take some positives from this experience. I started and finished (well kinda) a film script which I could happily take to any studio executive's office and inevitably get thrown out for. I also managed to get some interest from a well know (and very cute!) Hollywood actress who apparently read it and liked it. I am not going to name who she was as there is always the possibility that this person was not who she was claiming to be and I was duped into thinking that it was she. Ce La Vie as they say in Paris, along with "Hor hor hor ples pas me the croissants yu tastee little je ne say pas!"

Ciao all...

PS - Sorry there is no more posting for this blog... You could always check out my band's MySpace page - http://www.myspace.com/astrothie. We are called 'The Astro-Thieves' and write and record our own material. Of course we are unsigned and will never ever be anything more than a virtual garage band.. but shite happens in the big city my friends...

The Begining

Welcome to the first blog entry for Tripping from Grace. Over the coming months I will do my best to keep this record up to date. An introduction in brief - Tripping from Grace is the working title for a screenplay that I am currently working on with a friend of mine. This is my first screenplay. In fact its my first serious attempt at writing anything. My colaborator on the other hand has been writing for many years and has several books that are soon to be published. I am very lucky to have him helping me on this project. I am sure that without him I would not of have even started writing this script.
